I’m the kind of guy that loves to fish with live bait, but whenever I can’t cast-net bait, I’ll throw on a lure. I’ve had some success now and again pitching lures, but my success went to a new level when I tied on one of the new lures from CharkBait. I attribute my new-found success to the fact that they swim like my live bait and even look like it. And, they don’t die in the live well or bucket! Lastly, I loved how they maintained their good looks, hit after hit - not much scratching or chipping, at all.

CharkBait’s newest series of lures are based upon familiar products from the past. But, the innovative anglers at CharkBait have made some significant improvements in both design and features.

All lures come with both single and treble hooks made by Mustad (3X strength). The lures are also clear coated four times for durability of finish. All the lures feature solid-welded rings at the nose and high-strength split rings at the rear. The new lures also make use of a luminescent belly to entice more deep-water attention from targeted fish.

There are two new styles of lure, the Metal Swimmer that has a gently curved back that gives the lure a flutter on the drop, and the Metal Slider that features a straight back. Both can be used on the “slide,” jigged vertically, or as a cast and retrieve lure.

Check out the new lures by visiting their website at www.CHARKBAIT.com or cruise into their shops in Huntington Beach and San Diego, California.
