Breathe Like a Fish Shirts

Spending a lot of time on the water is a blessing, but there are downsides - especially the damaging effects the sun can have on our skin. Sunscreens work fine, if reapplied on a regular basis, which I am not known for doing. So, I have tried covering up. This works, but I can't stand to be hot. Most fishing shirts I have tried until recently left me feeling like I was cooking from the inside out. Until I was given a Gillz Shirt to test by a friend at the PTTS in Boca Grande, Fl. Let me tell you, I now have a favorite shirt. The company's slogan is, "Breathe like a fish." And, that is exactly what this long-sleeve shirt does - breathe. It allows me to stay cool and protected from the sun with the added advantage of a built-in, pull-up, vented sun mask for the face - no more leaving my mask in the truck by accident. Gillz Shirts are made from a light and comfortable, microfiber, moisture-wicking fabric that carries a UPF rating of 30+. The pull-up mask can be worm comfortably up or down and the shirt's mesh sides (gills) allow for increased air circulation.
