Thanks Tino and cholmes.  I'd swap you that sail and all the tarpon you want for that rooster!  That must have been a great fight!

I have to admit that the Rooster was an absolute blast.  It was like hooking the kayak to a freight train-we both were exhausted after the fight.  I'm heading back to Baja later this year to do it all again-and maybe add a sail or marlin to the mix.!  In the meantime, i'll be trying hard to get a tarpon.
