Went out last Saturday to scope some deep holes for this coming full moon snapper trip. We stopped off at a little rock pile in the  eighties and dropped down some live greenies. We had to wait a whole two or three seconds before rods started bending. We spent almost an hour catching short and legal red grouper and cried over all the gags we had to throw back. Finally we weeded through the grouper and started picking up some gorgeous three to six pound mangrove snapper. At the end we had six pretty snapper for the table and the promise of a hell of a midnight bite to come. Hope some other members get a chance to head out and I will post the results of this weekends trip.
