For anyone who loves to shark fish lets start a discussion on shark fishin tips and such. Also if you have any pictures of sharks that you have caught show them off!! Shark fishin is awesome and I think it deserves to have a discussion!
I catch so many sharks, I find them to be a nuisance! Only because I only fish from a kayak. Here is one video I have, sorry for the high quality... it's hard to do alone.
If you want some intense hammerhead and bull shark fishing nothing beats Indian Key Pass out of Evergladecity. Head out out after dark and set up in the middle of the pass beside Indian Key and soak whole three to four pound mullet on the bottom. We have caught snook, tarpon and multiple species of shark with this tactic.Warning though, if fishing out of a small boat as we did(16ft jon boat) expect to hear the theme from Jaws in your head when the first reel starts singing.
We fish for sharks every year down in the Florida Keys and it is amazin. I love catchin shark down there. We usually fish for them off of the fishin bridge down in Sugar Loaf Key. We have caught some nice nurse and lemon shark there!!
